Recently, our Group Director of Marketing and Development had the opportunity to experience the stunning Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail!
The 40km ride explores through unique and captivating landscapes of Central Otago, journeying along Lake Dunstan, Kawarau River and the mighty Clutha River Mata-au. With many highlights, prepare to be amazed as you ride! Step back in time at the Cromwell Heritage Precinct and pull over at Bannockburn Inlet, a perfect picnic area! You can also cool off with an organic wine at Carrick Winery! See the stonework faces of the Cairnmuir slide, a man-made terrace on the slopes above the lake and ride by New Zealand's third-largest hydro-dam!
All this was possible with the help and hospitality of Central Cycle Trails!
