Marsden Hotel Group Welcomes the Opening of the New Zealand International Convention Centre

Members of the Marsden Hotel Group leadership team recently attended the official opening of the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a landmark development set to reshape Auckland’s business events landscape.

Representing Marsden were Michael Osborne, Executive Director – Development & Planning; Steve Woods, Group Director of Marketing, Ecommerce & Revenue; Swathi Kota, Group Director of Sales; Daria Varennikova, Group Marketing Executive; and Sonja Seyfarth, Events Manager at Castaways Resort.

The opening of NZICC marks a pivotal moment for New Zealand’s business events sector. Located in the heart of Auckland, the state-of-the-art venue has the capacity to host conferences and exhibitions for up to 3,000 delegates. This significantly enhances Auckland’s ability to attract large-scale international conventions, trade shows and corporate events.

The economic implications are substantial. Major conferences generate increased demand for accommodation, dining, transport and tourism experiences, delivering meaningful benefits across the wider hospitality and service industries. NZICC will not only support local businesses but also strengthen New Zealand’s global reputation as a premium destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).

As one of New Zealand’s leading hotel providers, Marsden Hotel Group is well positioned to support this growth. With centrally located properties including Ramada Suites Victoria Street West and Rose Park Hotel Auckland, along with a diverse national portfolio, we look forward to welcoming NZICC delegates and contributing to Auckland’s continued expansion as a world-class events destination.

We extend our thanks to the BEIA and NZICC teams for hosting an outstanding launch event and for their leadership in advancing New Zealand’s business events industry.

The best thing about Drive Mad is that it rewards careful movement instead of speed alone. I kept restarting certain stages just to improve my route and avoid flipping the truck at the last second.

COBB CAN MOVE delivers a chilling experience for fans of the genre. As a survival horror game, it prioritizes procedural generation and dynamic rules. The plot involves escaping a facility that changes its layout at will. This game uses unpredictability to build tension. You must choose your path carefully as routes fail without warning.
